      Great set delivered with a small flaw.

      I really love the ultimate set. The books and cardboard sorter boxes look impressive. The core and MC books really nicely written and provide many examples. And the Shadows And Showdowns expansion is a game changer bringing in a whole new dimension of mysteries and gameplay elements with the Gatekeeper chapter. And all the books come with PDF included which is a must have in today's world. (Ctrl+F during session is a lifesaver) The Starter box is one of the best examples on how to do a "tutorial" with step by step mechanics introduction I have seen so far in all my years of playing various RPG systems. The only flaw I wanted to mention is that the set came packaged in such a way that the hardcover books left an indentation on the starter set box. Because of that i still haven't unpacked the physical version of the starter set and through the still intact plastic wrap you can see a clear gash made by the other hardcover books going through the cardboard exterior.

      Phenomenal Game

      City of Mist understands that Superheroes are (and always have been) modern mythology. They are morality tales where the gods wear spandex. That's what City of Mist does and it does it perfectly.
