Local Legends Small-Time Villains: Puppet Show (PDF)

Walter Stephenson loves his son Freddy, perhaps far too much. After the death of his wife and severe health problems early on in Freddy’s life, Walter encouraged his disabled son’s love of puppet-making, helping him to carve his wooden creations and playing into his own Mythoi connection to Pinocchio’s Geppetto. However, Walter has struggled to find happiness in the face of the tragedies he and Freddy have suffered, pouring his sadness and rage into a particularly dark habit: murder.  

Puppet Show is a villain supplement designed to be used with the City of Mist tabletop roleplaying game. This supplement features a central antagonist for players to challenge, Walter Stephenson (Geppetto), including background information, personality traits, motivations and abilities, and people and places connected to his plans. MCs can use this supplement to introduce an additional villain to their current campaign, as a random encounter, or as a short side-case.
