The Legend in the Mist Corebook contains the complete rules for the game, including a play-along introduction to the rules, instructions and advice for the Master of Ceremonies (MC), ready-made tropes for a quick character creation, suggestions for storylines and challenges, a myriad of monsters to face, journeys to traverse, and obstacles to overcome, rules for single-player or two player games, and a ready-made starter adventure.

The Hearts of Ravensdale Setting Book features a broad overview of the main setting for Legend in the Mist, including the hidden cosmology of the world, the cultivation-based magic system in which inner will can become true power, the Dales and its people, the lands beyond and the things that dwell there. The book offers additional tropes, theme kits, Specials and items for creating and developing player characters, a selection of Dale challenges and prominent factions, and a full campaign of six adventures.
