Sufficient but a bit disappointing

To my surprise the quality of the download is unusually low for a Son of Oak release. --- Low Resolution/ Raster images and text: The only way to describe it is calling it a scan. In other words, the PDF is primarily raster images of sufficient - I guess -, but low resolution. The main issue with this is the readability of the text, which is particularly important when you are dyslexic like me. Fonts and readability play a huge role for me. But I can only assume these files are useless for visually impaired because the text is not recognized and can be read using apps. -- File Size: As a consequence of the export quality, the file is just huge for such a short PDF. Purely optimised PDFs can feel sluggish in different viewers and on different devices. This is no exception. --- Incomplete: The full art front page is missing. The page, according to some showcase videos, are supposed to include quotes that help to get into the characters. They have been omitted from the character folios entirely. --- Adding confusion to the product portfolio: Long story short, there are three sets of character folios at this moment in time. There are characters from the quickstart guide, there are characters from the coreset(s) of rulebooks/supplements and apparently there is a character folio associated with Local Legends, which are released to backers, but are nowhere mentioned on the homepage shop or DTRPG. This product includes the characters from the Quickstart and the coresets, all characters that are available separetly on the shop, MINUS Hecate!! (painful, when you actually expected the character to be in this compilation) On DTRPG, the characters are only available in single files, thereby the quickstart characters are actually free to download. The issue is that nothing on the shop tells you this, and I think this character folio pack should actually bundle both, the quickstart characters and the corebook set characters. To avoid the confusion, they should be separete products and the single files should be marked accordingly to avoid confusions, especially with Local Legends Character portfolios around the corner. The characters are all great and you see that a lot of work went into how the characters are best represented on a DIN A3 poster size two-pager and all characters come with a handy summary of how to play the game, which is extremely helpful for new players. Unfortuneately, in the current state, I really can't recommend getting the Character Folio Pack in digital form outside of the starter box or one of various bundle options. I can only assume that the physical version is of much higher quality and usefulness. I really hope this product gets revised in the future to match the other great work of Son of Oak.
