The first Legend In The Mist supplement will be Zamanora: Ballad Of The Witch, a Balkan-Slavic Setting Book

Son of Oak Game Studio is excited to share that the first Legend In The Mist book developed by a licensed third party will be Eren Chronicles' Balkan-Slavic setting book, Zamanora: Ballad Of The Witch. This will be the first dual-system book to feature content for both Legend In The Mist, which was recently voted Most Anticipated TTRPG of 2025, and Dungeons & Dragons, supporting D&D 5e and 2024. Zamanora launches on Kickstarter on March 4th.

The setting of Zamanora, inspired by cautionary tales from the team's culture, emphasizes grim legends, dark ritual magic, and strange creatures from Balkan and Slavic mythologies. Players will be able to play as new character types (subclasses for D&D and theme kits for LitM) such as the Curseweaver, the Mountain Bandit, or the Bogatyr, as well as new species such as the mischievous Chorts and the wraith like Haunts.

Dungeon Masters and Narrators will find in Zamanora a plethora of new monsters, such as the Leshy, the Kikimora, and Koschei the Deathless, as well as a selection of villages, each with its own drama and story arc, that the party can travel through and get embroiled in. The setting will also include three new types of magic: poppet magic, ceremonial magic, and a system for magical taint called Veilmark.

The book's dual system, combining Legend In The Mist content with Dungeons & Dragons, will offer something for both player bases. Dungeons & Dragons players will enjoy the added narrative content and descriptive monster actions of Legend In The Mist, which supports social, emotional, and magical actions - such as temptation and curses - out of the box without the need for added mechanics, while Legend In The Mist players will be able to easily introduce the game to friends who are familiar with D&D.

The Kickstarter for Zamanora: Ballad Of The Witch will go live on March 4th and has so far reached over 3000 followers. Backers will be able to get a player guidebook and a storyteller guidebook, a slipcase set containing both books, and accessories such as a set of premium dice, a handknit cross-stitch doll, a beautiful miniature of the dreaded witch Baba Yaga, and the Adventure Deck, a new tool for GM-less or solo adventuring.
